We're looking for a Development Specialist to join our Global R&D, Technology Solutions team. A diverse squad that’s all about learning, growing, and developing—together. 🚀

In this role, you’ll lead tech projects from research to implementation, working closely with NPD, Engineering, and Operations teams. We need someone who’s not just skilled but also a strong communicator and driven to succeed. Your work will directly impact our value chain.

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Lead small to mid-sized technology and/or ingredient development projects or lead workstreams within a larger technology project .
    • Responsible for project/workstream planning, budget and resources.
    • Collaborate with engineering, packing and category colleagues to ensure on time in full project delivery  
  • R&D lead of standard process installation projects
    • Responsible for writing technology factbooks and Commissioning, Qualification, Verification preparation & completion
  • Build and apply  relevant technological knowledge and best practices to support execution of projects as well as trouble shooting of manufacturing challenges.
  • Tasks can include: defining and leading pilot or plant trials, reporting & presenting findings within JDE stakeholders and project teams, providing technical consultancy or support in personal expertise areas

Qualifications

Looking for an R&D Development Specialist with a passion for excellence! 🌟

We need someone who takes ownership, embraces responsibility, and isn’t afraid to lead the way. Ideally, you’ve got 2-5 years of experience and a solid sense of your own value. Experience in process engineering, operations, or project management in food or FMCG industries? 🍔📦 Big plus!

We’re all about diverse teams 🌍 and want someone who values that too. While we could give you a checklist of “must-haves,” we prefer to look at the bigger picture. We’ll definitely consider your experience with R&D technology development projects and stakeholder management, but we’re most excited about what you bring to the table overall. 💡

  • Leading R&D Technology projects.
  • Experience in executing laboratory, Pilot Plant or Industrial scale trials with a high level of autonomy.
  • Working with design of experiences (DoE) and/or statistical tools
  • Experienced use of MS Tools.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required by project needs.
  • Academic level of degree (Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering or similar).
  • 2-5 years post studies relevant work experience.
