Job Description

This role provides critical operational support across key areas of the marketing function. The ideal candidate will be a proactive administrator, event coordinator, and team enabler, helping to streamline processes, enhance team collaboration, and deliver high-impact brand and internal initiatives. This role is vital in supporting key business objectives, including the delivery of trade and team events, managing marketing systems, and driving process efficiencies.

Responsibilities;

1. Marketing Systems Ownership & Process Improvement

  • Act as the go-to systems administrator for key marketing platforms, including:
    • D2P, NLF, and other core processes: Become a master user; attend all relevant training and use daily to ensure hands-on practice.
    • Digital Asset Management (DAM): Ensure brand managers have access to relevant assets.
    • Business Insights Portal: Maintain and update reports and tools to ensure easy team access to key metrics.
    • PO Management: Raise, track, and report all POs for the marketing team; implement streamlined processes with <3% late volume and <10% late value.
  • Be the Finance Champion for marketing, managing purchasing and ensuring vendors are paid on time.
  • Be the point person for systems onboarding for new starters.

 

2. Brand & Business Event Support

  • Lead the coordination of high-impact events including:
    • Brewing for Growth: Manage the working party, logistics, and evening event, oversee PO management & vendor payments
    • Customer Planning Days: Provide Sales Toolkits and internal launch support.
    • Activation Forum: Support brand teams with sample provision, equipment setup, and Trade PR updates.
  • Manage brand and competitor sample fulfilment.
  • Support additional experiential and activation events as required.
  • Liaise with external partners (e.g. agencies, collaborators) for event coordination.

 

3. Trade PR & External Visibility

  • Develop the Trade PR strategy & plan with support from the Marketing Lead
  • Lead the execution of the Trade PR plan to position JDE as a thought leader in the category.

 

4. Team Engagement & Administrative Support

  • Support the Marketing Director and Marketing Leadership Team with key administrative needs (e.g. meeting scheduling, agenda setting).
  • Support Consumer Care specialist with co-ordination of delivery and ad hoc responses to consumers when needed.
  • Lead coordination of LIAM meetings:
    • Ensure completion of pre-reads by deadline (2 days prior).
    • Circulate minutes and actions post-meeting.
  • Coordinate and deliver:
    • Monthly & Quarterly Marketing Team Meetings (4x annually) to inspire strategy, collaboration, and ideation.
    • Lunch & Learns and other ad hoc team-building events.
  • Ensure effective office management, including:
    • Accessibility and regular stock checks of the marketing cupboard and offsite storage
  • Lead new starter induction and onboarding:
    • Ensure all teams are briefed 1 week prior to session.
    • Prepare sample kits and machines for each new joiner.
    • Achieve 100% readiness before the session begins.
    • Act as a buddy to support smooth integration.

It is important that you;

  • Have a passion for marketing and the desire to progress within the space.
  • Degree educated (preferred)
  • Ideally have some marketing experience, internships or grad schemes
  • Have full right to work in the UK
  • Can be present in the office 3 days a week (minimum)
